Meet Your Representative - Joe Donnelly

Donnelly was born on September 29, 1955 in Flushing, New York. He went to college and graduated with a law degree from Notre Dame University. He now resides in Granger, Indiana with his wife and two children.
Before he ran for Congress he held two public positions. He served on the Indiana State Election Board from 1988 to 1989 and then served on a school board from 1997 to 2001. He was the president of the school board from 2000 to 2001.

Member of three caucuses/coalitions: Blue Dog Coalition, Congressional Steel Caucus, and Great Lakes Task Force.
The Blue Dog Coalition's main goal is to give moderate and conservative Democrats in the House of Representatives a common sense within the institution.
